Farrah Abraham is essentially a bratty child with a social media following in the millions.
And as she's demonstrated many times, that can be a very dangerous thing.
Earlier this week, Farrah went off on ALL of her Teen Mom: OG co-stars for reasons that still aren't entirely clear.
Without citing any evidence, she suggested that Catelynn Lowell's husband, Tyler Baltierra, is secretly gay.
Now, Tyler is clapping back in a way that's sure to get Farrah's goat...
The Pettiest Mom
Farrah has long been the most irritable, petty cast member on Teen Mom: OG, but this week she reached a new low, attacking all of her co-stars on social media for no apparent reason.
One-Woman Roast Battle
"I’m just happy amber stays In bed, Maci sits on the couch, Catelynn smokes weed in her car , Tyler’s gays still doesn’t admit it, I travel the world & know how to run businesses #teenmom @mtv all I can say is #WOW," Farrah tweeted Monday night.
Apropos of Nothing
The tweet followed an episode of Teen Mom: OG, but seemed to have nothing to do with what transpired on the show. In fact, as with most episodes of TM: OG, Farrah in no way interacted with her co-stars over the course of the hour.
Farrah doubled-down in her criticism of Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. No other couple on the show was subjected to TWO Farrah burns. The question is, why?
Many fans have speculated that the reason Farrah seems especially pissed at Tyler and Catelynn is the episode focused on their business ventures, and Ms. Abraham likes to think of herself as the only true mogul on the cast.
Very few people think it's an insult to be called gay or a pothead in 2017, and those who do are unquestionably morons. So it's not surprising that Farrah is one of them. Fortunately, Tyler didn't shy away from the conflict.
The Lion and the Sheep
“In order for her to really insult me, I would first need to value her opinion and the lion does not dwell on the opinions of sheep," Tyler tweeted on Monday night.
How to Insult an Egomaniac
Having known Farrah for his entire adult life, Tyler is no doubt aware that the best way to insult someone with such a giant and fragile ego is simply to dismiss her.
Asked by In Touch what set her off, Farrah replied, "It’s on the episode and I watch every Monday when it airs, just like what our watchers see too!" Understandably not satisfied with that nonsensical answer, the tabloid turned to Farrah's mother...
Debra Danielsen attempted to justify her daughter's actions in an interview with the magazine. "It's hard to be perfect," Deb said. "Nothing [happened] recently. Their disagreement goes back to Teen Mom, but we should be closer now and support each other."
Jenelle and Farrah: Two Psychotic Peas In a Pod
Deb went on to say that she and Farrah both identify with Jenelle Evans, and had no problem with Evans' decision to send cease-and-desist letters to her co-stars. "I would [do the same] because none of them know how to keep their damn mouths shut. They're all about the drama," Deb said.
"They're not about actually caring or being there as a friend," Danielsen concluded. Sounds like both Deb and Farrah have been fed up with their co-stars for quite some time.
Not the First Time
Farrah has dissed her co-stars before, of course. “It’s Hilarity how I single handily made more views & ratings then all three stooges on @TeenMom @mtv & make more rating then 1offs…sh!" she tweeted earlier this year ... along with a photo of her daughter, for some reason.
Viewers seem to be overwhelmingly siding with Tyler and Catelynn in this conflict. Tyler has been retweeting supportive comments from fans ... and it turns out there are LOTS of them!
Many fans have described Tyler and Catelynn as inspirational figures. That's not a term you'll ever hear anyone use in reference to Farrah.
Catelynn Is Unbothered
“When you listen to what she says, most of the time when she answers stuff she doesn’t make sense anyways," Lowell has said in reference to Farrah.
Portwood agrees, telling People magazine, “I do not want kids today who are watching the show to think that [Farrah] is a strong woman. That is not a strong woman. That is a hateful woman. That is not what you want to be like.”
It's not surprising that fans have chosen to side with Tyler and Catelynn over Farrah in this case. Abraham is widely despised, and her comments about her cast mates ran the gamut from bitchy to bigoted. And in the battle of the Teen Mom tycoons, there's one additional reason fans may have picked the Baltierras over Farrah...
Tyler and Catelynn make their money through work and business ventures that are likely viewed as more legitimate by fans. Farrah, on the other hand, relies largely on porn, stripping, and other forms of sex work as the basis of her empire. It may not be fair for fans to judge her for that, but based on recent Twitter comments, that's undoubtedly what's happening.
