It’s been two months since David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2, but Jenelle Evans’ troubled husband is still causing problems for his former castmates.
As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup points out, Eason has recently taken to criticizing Leah Messer’s parenting.
It may seem strange, given his fraught relationship with his own children, but apparently, Eason has major issues with the way Leah has chosen to raise her daughters.
Fortunately, Leah isn’t taking David’s criticism lying down, and she’s got some powerful allies in her corner.
David Is Dumb

In February, Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 after launching a homophobic tirade against fans on Twitter. Unfortunately, it seems he hasn’t learned his lesson about spewing idiocy on social media.
A War of Words

For reasons that defy explanation, David recently decided to criticiize Leah Messer’s parenting on Instagram. We’re guessing he’s regretting that move right about now.
Leah and Her Girls

Leah recently shared this photo of herself with her oldest daughters on Instagram. Seems innocent enough, but apparently, some folks saw cause for complaint.
What Would Corey Do?

David dragged Leah’s first husband, Corey Simms, into the fray by expressing his belief that Simms shouldn’t allow his daughter to wear such heavy makeup.
David’s Two Cents

“I can’t believe Cory would allow her to wear that much makeup on her face,” Eason commented on the photo.
The Clap-Back

Not surprisingly, fans were quick to call David out for criticizing another father. And of course, he responded to their comments in his usual over-the-top fashion.
David on Corey

Eason clarified that he wasn’t criticizing Simms, but merely expressing his belief that Corey would not have approved of his daughter’s look. “No, [Leah] just probably didn’t ask him if it was OK first,” David wrote. “I doubt he would allow that.”
Easy, Eason

Several fans were quick to share their belief that the problem isn’t Leah’s failure to consult Corey, but David’s mentality. “Maybe Corey isn’t a control freak like you,” one fan commented.
Liberated Leah

“This comment just proves how controlling you are,” wrote another of Messer’s followers. “Leah is her parent too. She doesn’t need his permission, especially for makeup.”
She’s a Cheerleader, Dave

“She’s a cheerleader on a STAGE with a lot of LIGHTS,” one follower explained. “The judges have to have able to see them smile and their facial expressions for points. How hard is that to understand?”
Leah’s Response

Eventually, Leah her self got involved, writing, “Why are you even commenting on my post?”
The Reinforcements

Leah has some very outspoken friends, including Kailyn Lowry, who came to her defense on Twitter last night.
Kail Sounds Off

Kail basically told David where he can cram his opinions on other people’s parenting. Naturally her fans were 100% there for it.
Leah Loved It

Messer favorited and retweeted Kail’s tweet almost immediately. Unfortunately, David will never see it.
Twitter Jail

David’s Twitter account disappeared shortly after his bigoted tirade. It’s unclear if he deleted the account or if he was suspended by Twitter admins.
Isn’t It Ironic?

Ironically, before he got fired, David’s main complaint with Teen Mom 2 fans was that they felt they had the right to criticize his parenting on social media.
Eason’s Complaint

“And just what makes you think you have the right to tell me how to be a parent?” he ranted at a follower back in February. “Because you think you know me?”
Jenelle’s More Hateful Half

“Lmao why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals? Oh I forgot that’s supposed to be normal,” he concluded. Currently, it’s unclear what the future holds for David, but at least one thing is abundantly clear…
He Won’t Be Back on MTV Anytime Soon

Yes, David has gone and messed up the most lucrative opportunity he’ll ever have. And incidents like his clash with Leah remind us what a gift it is that we’ll never have to see him on television again.
