But only FOUR of them are true.

Which of these relationship facts is actually a relationship fake-out? Audrey does not reveal on her Instagram page. HOWEVER…
… The Roloffs Have Loyal Fans
And many of these fans have read the couple’s book and have commented on the post that number-three is NOT true. Audrey did NOT say she loved Jeremy first, a full year before he reciprocated.
What Else Do We Know About the Couple?
A lot, of course, but based on their memoir? We’ve gone through and come up with a number of other (all true!) tidbits Audrey and Jeremy admitted about themselves in the book.
The First Date Almost Never Happened
Jeremy was still getting over a three-year failed relationship and had no interest in dating when he was set up. “Reluctantly, I agreed to a blind date with some girl named Audrey. What made me say yes? I still don’t know. I spent the rest of the week looking for reasons to bail, even up to the last minute. Before I could cancel, Mitch texted me the address of Audrey’s parents’ house. It was just a couple hours before we were supposed to meet up, so I was too far in to back out now,” he wrote.
They Dated Long-Distance for Awhile
This is back in 2012 when both were in college.
Audrey Actually Dumped Jeremy Back in the Day
Audrey was battling severe gastroenterology problems when shew as in college, even collapsing one day on a run. She admitted in the memoir that this anxiety attack was caused by the pressure of school, her health — and her relationship. She decided something had to give, and that something ended up being Jeremy.
Jeremy Got Very Close to Another Woman During This Break
Her name was Kate and Jeremy says he had a “unique friendship” with her. He also says this relationship was strictly platonic, yet once he and Audrey got back together, Kate became a major issue in their relationship.
How Did This Play Out?
Eventually, Jeremy cut ties with Kate. “I promised Audrey that the wedding would mark the end of my friendship with Kate. It had come to that point. It wasn’t a friendship I could healthily maintain. I had been wrong to try,” he writes.
The Engagement Was Very Stressful
Because they were planning the wedding while still in college and doing the whole long-distance thing.

Explains Audrey in the Book:
“”The process was so stressful and demanding that one day Jeremy and I just broke down crying. We still didn’t have jobs or a place to live; we were fighting about Kate; Jeremy’s parents were going through a separation; my parents were very frustrated by the filming process; and we were emotionally overwhelmed by everything we were processing in premarital counseling. Jeremy was also having a heck of a time trying to keep the TV crew from encroaching on the parts of our wedding day I wanted to keep private. I felt incapacitated by stress, and Jeremy was starting to feel like everything was his fault.”
They Almost Broke Up… Over Porn
“When I first met Audrey, I was failing behind the computer screen. I had wandering eyes when it came to risqueÌ images and social media profiles I had no business looking at,” Jeremy has admitted.
Two Years Into the Marriage?
Jeremy fell back into the habit, even after vowing he had given it up.
And Audrey Was a Wreck in Response
Wrote Jeremy: “Audrey was devastated. My behavior had fractured our trust, scarred our intimacy, and broken our unity. I remember thinking, I love her so much. Why do I keep doing this? Yes, I loved her, but to what extent? We show our love for others by how we treat them. So if I said I loved her but chose to do something that hurt her, there’s a discrepancy there that I needed to reckon with.”

Audrey and Jeremy made it through the hard times, welcomed a baby girl in September 2017 and are now expecting her sibling in January 2020!
