90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? star Ashley Martson has had such a rough, busy week.
She has been reliving some of the most humiliating moments of her adult life as the show airs footage from last year.
She went on a women’s wellness retreat (and would like to remind us all that she is not in rehab)
Ashley ended up getting so many comments from trolls that she deleted her Instagram.
Just as we thought that she was getting a much-needed break, she was rushed to the hospital.
Fans were assured that she was going to be okay, but then they were confused … because just days later, she’s going on a cruise.

This week, Ashley Martson reported to a wellness retreat, deactivated her Instagram, was hospitalized, reactivated her Instagram, and now she’s going on a cruise ship. Is everything good?
Ashley has done her best to keep fans up to speed
She’s still under an NDA for 90 Day Fiance, but she tells fans as much as she’s allowed to — and sometimes, more.

In this Q&A over the weekend, she explained that she acts stronger than she really feels.
She made a brave decision
In order to grapple with depression, Ashley elected to do a one-week women’s retreat to handle her mental health. A break was exactly what she needed.
There’s so much happening in her life
Remember, not only does Ashley have lupus along with normal everyday stresses, but she has hinted in the past that there are details that fans do not know about Jay’s cheating scandal and their breakup — things that will leave us all “shocked” if and when we learn them.
She even snapped at Jay on social media
He shared this throwback photo, in which he is very conspicuously in her house (most of us recognize her living room on sight these days).
Ashley was in NO MOOD
Obviously, fan questions poured in to both Ashley and Jay. Fans worried that they were back together. Ashley took the opportunity to tell Jay that he could collect his stuff at the tattoo shop
She wasn’t kidding, either
Jay shared a photo meme about his belongings being placed in a trash bag but folded nonetheless.
Ashley was on her last nerve, however
She lashed out at entertainment news writers (that means us!) for referring to her plans for a mental health retreat as “rehab.” For the record, the very first article that reported on this, to which she gave a statement, referred to it as rehab. There’s a lot of alarming stigma about the word and confusion. This isn’t an alcoholism program — she needed a break to deal with her depression.
It was all too much
Early this week, after reporting to the women’s retreat, Ashley Martson deleted her Instagram.
She did at least explain
Ashley released a statement to 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates in which she explained that social media was negatively impacting her mental health. She was particularly disgusted by people who actually defended Jay’s rampant, repeated cheating.
Jay had something to say
He keeps claiming that Ashley has been lying about him. What’s interesting is that Jay never seems interested in sharing his side of the story, just in accusing Ashley of misrepresenting the truth.
But it didn’t matter
On Monday, Ashley was already at the women’s wellness retreat in North Carolina, getting her mental health back on track.
Then, things took a turn for the worst
Ashley’s lupus flared up and she had to leave the retreat and go to a hospital. Well wishes from countless fans poured in, hoping that she would feel better soon.
Ashley is okay!
She has been through SO much just this year, including the ravages of lupus. But she made sure that her fans knew that she’s alive and reasonably well.
In fact, she’s better than okay
Ashley announced that she will, on Saturday, leave on a cruise ship with her family. You may have noticed that the same post in which she complained about people calling it “rehab,” she also mentioned that she was planning a cruise.
She even held a Q&A to reassure fans

Did she really go to rehab?
She’s tired of hearing it called rehab, but it’s a semantics thing. Wellness retreat just takes up more room in very finite headline space, folks.

What plans does she have before the cruise?
June is Pride Month, and Ashley is going to a Pride fashion show. Good for her! We hope that she has a blast.

Ashley says that she’s looking forward to the end of this season of Happily Ever After? so that she can stop reliving these humiliations.
She’s mentioned this before
In her Q&A last weekend, Ashley told fans that she would watch that episode but did not plan on watching any further episodes. it is unclear if those plans have now changed, but we’re guessing that they have not.
Is Ashley still in contact with Poochie?
Poochie is Jay’s sister, but Ashley says that she is no longer talking to his relatives — she wanted a clean break. We love her analogy there, too.
The hardest thing about social media is …
Ashley tells her fans that disgraceful thirsty women defend Jay, and … we’ve seen those posts ourselves. People need to learn to separate their sense of right and wrong from their general horniness. You can be horny for Jay — that’s reasonable. What’s not reasonable is pretending that Ashley is bad or that his cheating is fine, actually, just because you want to feel his tattoo needle for yourself.
Will Jay ever realize how badly he screwed up?
Ashley doesn’t think that it’ll be any time soon, but no matter when he sees reason, it’ll be too late. Bye girl, bye.
