She’s wearing a conspicuous band around her left ring finger — a finger usually reserved for engagement rings and wedding bands.

Ashley Martson is taking time for herself
She uploaded this new photo to Instagram, tagging it “#simplelife #lake #nature.” It’s great to see her relaxing after all that this year has put her through.
But … what’s this?
We’ve zoomed in a little for you — as much as we could without sacrificing image quality. That’s definitely a ring on Ashley’s finger. On her ring finger of her left hand, no less.
WTF?!?
Ashley has been spotted with a couple of very hot guys in the almost two months since she went public with the demise of her marriage to Jay. But she said that they were just photos, and that she wasn’t dating anyone seriously.
She had a lot of healing to do
Ashley has lost months of her life trying to fix a marriage that was broken within days of the nuptials.
It’s not that she can’t find another man
Ashley is hot, has an entertaining personality, and doesn’t seem to be short on cash, either. Of course she can find any man she likes.
But …
Ashley needs time to heal and recover before she moves on from Jay.
But she DOES need to move on
Trying to make it work yet again would be disastrous, and we hate to even imagine that she’d give Jay yet another opportunity to disappoint her.
It started right after her wedding
Jay downloaded Tinder and started chatting up various girls. Ashley has since revealed that he was sexting. She caught him video chatting with a girl one night.
We now know even more about that
Ashley says that Jay was planning to meet up with a high school senior — who was 18, of course. She says that she doesn’t blame the girl, because Jay had been lying to her.
It took a while to move past that
Indiscretions are one thing, but for it to happen right after the wedding? Thousands of thoughts must have been running through Ashley’s mind.
Still, they worked it through, until …
On January 11, Ashley filed to divorce Jay … only to withdraw the filing just 11 days later
See, she had suffered a health crisis
Found unresponsive at home, she had been taken to the hospital with kidney failure — unfortunately, lupus can do that. Jay rushed to her side.
So they gave it another shot
Though they were still under NDA at the time, fans could follow along as the divorce filing was retracted and as Jay bragged about a “mystery woman” on Instagram, resting his head on legs that clearly belonged to Ashley.
They even weathered a scandal together
A lot of fans felt shocked and betrayed after Jay accidentally went live from an account that was supposedly “leaking” photos of the two of them. Ashley apologized profusely.
But they made it through to the other side
That included a second hospitalization for Ashley, this time one that they had planned in advance. There was also a lengthy recovery period, during which Jay waited on her hand and foot as her health returned.
Unfortunately, the worst wasn’t over
On April 15, Ashley took to her Instagram Stories to strongly hint that Jay had cheated on her. Castmate Larissa Lima then revealed to fans that Ashley and Jay had broken up, which Ashley then confirmed.
Ashley said that Jay cheated again
She even identified one woman as a “homewrecker,” which is not a thing, though Jay says that he met up with that woman only after he and Ashley had split.
She filed for divorce
Ashley included allegations of adultery in her divorce filing.
She says that it gets worse
Ashley has said that if American knew the whole story behind her breakup with Jay, they would be “shocked.” Since Jay cheating is the least shocking thing imaginable, fans are ANXIOUS to know what went down.
So … what’s with that ring?
Ashley’s fans spotted it on her Instagram post and bombarded her with questions. Was it from a new man? Was it from Jay?
Ashley answered
“Just a beautiful ring @jessawadjewelry sent me,” Ashley explained to her fans and followers. Okay, that’s smart — it was an ad. And it certainly got OUR attention, so it worked.
Ashley has more important things on her mind
Remember, her kids may not have been pictured on 90 Day Fiance, but she’s a mother of two. She’s devoted to her children.
Ashley is her own woman
One day, when she’s ready, she’ll start dating again — for real.
But her days of taking back Jay are over
Probably. Look, he’s hot and they definitely have a lot of chemistry together. Ashley has even admitted that she still loves him. We could see them reuniting, we just think that they would both be miserable.
