Viewers couldn’t stand Leida Margaretha.
She rubbed them the wrong way when she immediately drove a wedge between Eric Rosenbrook and his teenage daughter.
When she emotionally blackmailed him into kicking her out of the house, however, viewers went off.
Tasha Rosenbrook, who has turned 20 years old since that heartbreaking scene was filmed, can’t forget that moment.
So when Leida extended an indirect apology through a statement that Eric read on social media, Tasha’s reply was less than enthusiastic.

To the horror of their castmates and the audience, Eric refused to have anything to do with his own daughter, Tasha, until she apologized to Leida for — we wish that we were kidding — the apartment having been less than tidy upon her arrival. It was Tasha’s apartment.

Tasha feels that Leida has torn her family apart — not by marrying her dad, but by kicking her out and trying to sever his relationship with his other two daughters. Leida resents Tasha because she exists and doesn’t keep her room tidy.

You don’t flip out over how an adult keeps her room unless it actually impacts you. You don’t kick someone out of her own apartment by emotionally blackmailing her dad. And you definitely don’t try to discourage a man from paying child support.
Ultimately, Leida extended an “olive branch”
After Leida faced major backlash on social media, Eric released a statement in January sayng that Leida apologized.

“I care about your kids,” the statement read. “It hurts me when we have to deal with this s–t.”
The apology got real
“Please reach Tasha,†Leida’s words continued. “Tell her you love her. Tell her I care about her. Tell her I am sorry. I am sorry for what I’ve done to her.”
Leida put the ball in Tasha’s court
“She doesn’t need to talk to me,” Leida said. “But I am open if she wants my help. I would love to help her.”
Tasha has a lot of feelings on the matter
In her Instagram Story, Tasha shared her intention to go on Instagram Live to discuss the apology. Understandably, this is a topic that hits close to home for her.
Tasha can get worked up, with good reason
Fans have heard her voice crack on 90 Day Fiance as she realized that her father had chosen his relationship with Leida over his bond with his own daughter — they know how hard this is for her.
Apology NOT accepted
In a live audio interview on YouTube, Tasha said: “She had come out with a statement that she was sorry and this big whole spiel more or less apologizing to me and I’ve been leaving it alone for a reason. I hadn’t believed any of it.”
Tasha also addressed the domestic violence accusation
In January, police visited Eric and Leida one Sunday morning after Leida accused Eric of domestic violence.
Leida had allegedly tried to take her own life
In response, it sounds like Eric disarmed her but went too far in the process. It’s an upsetting situation all-around.
Tasha believes that it happened
“I believe that situation happened,” Tasha affirmed. “What I don’t believe is that the next day Eric had gone on live reading a message from her saying she’s that sorry.”
Eric’s reading of Leida’s apology seemed fake to her
“But I don’t believe that she’s sorry for all the stuff that she’s done or apologizing for,†Tasha shared. “That’s what I don’t believe — her apology.”
And she accuses Leida of calling the police on HER
“First of all, if you mean an apology, you’re not gonna call the cops on someone because you’re afraid they might be talking about you,” Tasha said. “I just straight up didn’t believe it.”
Did Leida call the police on Tasha?
She says that Leida called the police on her on January 29, presumably out of panic over Tasha’s intention to discuss her apology on Instagram Live. We cannot confirm that, but … what the hell? Who does that?
Tasha says she and Leida both feel bad
But that’s why she doesn’t buy the apology, saying: “The amount of time we have gone at it with each other, either one or both of us have apologized and then we’ve gone at each other again time and time again.”
Tasha thinks Leida is just feeling desperate
“Plus I know how it feels when you hit rock bottom — you start to feel bad for everything,†Tasha explained. “Stuff you’ve never felt bad for before, you certainly do now. If you’re in that rock bottom hard place, you want to feel like you’re leaving on a good note. So of course, you’re going to try to fix those things.”
So that’s it?
Leida and Eric say that they’re done with 90 Day Fiance — Leida got death threats. It’s unclear if they had filmed anything that we don’t know about, like Happily Ever After? So we’ll have to keep an eye on their social media and their interviews for further updates.
But sometimes “sorry” isn’t enough
