Halle Berry Blames Her Anti-Semitism On The Jews
Experts Warn: Berry At Risk Of Losing Her Shiksa-Appeal

Breaking: Halle Berry reportedly made an innocent joke about giant Jew noses on The Tonight Show and then totally tried to cover it up by saying her “Jewish friends” told her it was funny.

Oh, Halle. See, how it works is, you have to actually be Jewish in order to crack anti-semitic jokes with total impunity. Having an imaginary Jewish friend or two (which is to say an accountant/agent) doesn’t quite cut the mustard.

Besides, if it’s awkward, nebbishy humor you want, go park your tuchas on the couch and watch a marathon of Curb Your Enthusiasm. (Or, for that matter, Woody Allen’s Manhattan.)

Either that or take conversion classes, round up a mohel for the unborn son of yours, learn how to burn everything (including toast) that comes out of your kitchen and start working on your “Oy, vey.”

I don’t remember anyone going mad at Leno, or him having to apologize everytime he makes nasty comments about the French, calling them anything from smelly to cowards to traitors to monkeys to whatever insult one can think of…

Double standards, anyone?

Jossip–understand your tsurris(sorrow/angst). Not condoning Halle’s actions or her lack of poor judgment in speech on Leno. Didn’t see the show, did see the pictures. Think you are overreacting.

She has been prone to have several flaky A.D.D. moments in what she says on air or in the press. Whether she looses shiksa (female gentile) points on this one is still up for debate. I am surprised you didn’t call her a schvartzah (N word in Yiddish) for her comments (trying to prove a point in my post).

C’mon give the girl a break. Don’t think she was blaming one of her three Jewish assistants for making the original comment nor do I think she was dodging responsibility this time as she has been accused of by some with her car accident, career and personal life. BTW one of her lawyers is Jewish. She apologized and she should be more cautious in her speech and actions in the future on the air and in print. The photos were probably taken at her home to break the monotony of her being in lock-down w/security 24/7 (from the death threat letters to she and her unborn child)when she hasn’t been promoting her new movie.

What I do find offensive:1-Jesse Jackson’s “Hymie-town” comment; 2-Oprah’s occasional Anti-Semetic or Holocaust jokes; 3-Rosie O’Donnell wishing she was Jewish or her idol Barbra Streisand when she acts Jewish when she is a from Long Island who had the audacity to play in the revival of “Fiddler on the Roof” playing opposite Harvey Fierstein.

I do not find it offensive when Oprah made some type comment about that she felt like she was wearing schmatas (rags)when she had the suave and debonnair Sydney Poitier on her show.

Somewhat offensive, Halle needs to work on the Yiddish accent and Jewish mannerisms when she responded to Barbara Walters a couple of comments on “The View” when she was on twice implying the boyfriend was nebbish (a nothing) since he was a male (underwear) model and was opening a restaurant/or has a restaurant instead of being a doctor or lawyer…Think it’s ironic BW even made the comments when her father Jay Walters owned the franchised restaurant-night club, The Stork Club?

Another BTW—And we don’t know if her mamzer (bastard-which is her choice) with her faygaleh (gay) shaygut (male gentile) boyfriend is a boy or not–she has said in several interviews she doesn’t want to know what sex her child is until she is in the moment of delivery.

Why should we (not just Leno) hold a double standard? I hope my Yiddish didn’t offend my fellow Jewish/other readers, I was trying to prove my point in Jossip’s posting this and no way normally talk or act like a hypocrite.

The really question is how do we define prejudice and comments that learned or ingrained in society even if we don’t claim to be prejudice, Anti-Semitic, racist, etc. but are in a sense because of the society we live in.

Partial apology Jossip–re-read the entire scenario of the incident–can be interpreted as she was blaming one of her “Jewish” assistants as being the cause when Halle just runs at the mouth without thinking and always trying to back peddle her way out. I could give specific examples but it’s another one of her media fiascos that has backfired. Don’t think this one is going to go away for awhile.

Irony, last time she was promoting her last movie she said she wouldn’t give anymore interviews bc of the Parade/suicide fiasco and them always asking when she’s going to have a baby. So much for silence is golden?

Shani, but what Leno said was true/

Anyway, Berry should have known better..not saying what she said was meant to be hurtful but.. aren’t blacks always saying that certain words can be said by them..but not whites?

fair is fair.
