E! True Hollywood Story, airing on March 17, will reveal a dark and troubled past for reality star Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett. Newly married and a first time mom, Kendra exposes a time in her life that some might want to cover up.
At the age of 13, Kendra started hanging out with the wrong group – which led her to begin experimenting with cocaine. She said, “All of a sudden they broke out this white stuff, I did it, and I started feeling this big ball of chalk going down my throat and I was like ‘what in the ****! Ew, this is so gross.’ After that I started feeling pretty good. That was the start of my drug days.”
It didn’t seem to get any better as the years went on. By age 15, the drug use got worse and the suicidal thoughts came. There was even a time when Kendra’s mom Patty had to enter her into a secured psychiatric facility. Kendra compared it to jail, saying that they were not allowed to see daylight.
The stay did not steer Kendra in the right direction. In fact, she admits that it made it worse because she wasn’t wanting to change. She ran off with a guy she met when she was a sophomore. The two lived together and spent all of their time doing drugs. According to Kendra, it was “every day, every minute.”
