Lindsay Lohan, actress and law breaker began her 10 days of community service this week. She worked a seven hour shift at a Red Cross Blood Bank in Los Angeles.

The community service requirement will diminish the jail time that was handed down by a judge for her two DWI convictions.

Lohan was met in the blood bank parking lot by Red Cross workers and put to work. Her first shift was from noon until 7:00 p.m. She was seen exiting the building at the end of the day with a book tucked into her arm. Apparently she had homework because the book title was “Blood”.

The actress originally received a 4 day jail sentence. One day was stayed, two days exchanged for 10 days of community service and one additional day will have to be served before the end of January.
