Ashlee Simpson looks chic in this photo taken at the CosmoGirl’s “Born to Lead” Awards at Hearst Tower on Tuesday. Love interest Pete Wentz was at home recovering from a broken foot. The “Fall Out Boy” frontman received the injury on stage in Louisiana this past weekend.
The singer, songwriter and actress has begun work on a new album. The first single is reported to be “Out of my Head” with the music video to be filmed in December. The album was originally slated for November release but the date has been pushed out to first quarter 2008.
