Earlier this week, Jenelle Evans stunned fans when she tweeted that hter husband, David Eason, had battled cancer.
It was the first time that Evans had mentioned Eason’s thyroidectomy and radation therapy, and many were confused as to why she waited so long.
After all, it’s not as though Jenelle is the quiet type.
Evans says she simply wanted to protect her husband’s privacy, but at least one person close to the situation thinks this is another case of Jenelle bending the truth to suit her needs…

Jenelle slammed the remarks about David as insensitive “especially because he’s a cancer survivor.” Naturally, fans were to quick to ask for elaboration following this bombshell.
Calling BS
One fan who claimed to have insider knowledge of the situation insisted that Jenelle was lying. “He didn’t have cancer!†the follower wrote. “Like women have preventative mastectomies because they have a family history.
A Fair Point…
“If [David] really was a cancer survivor don’t you think Jenelle would’ve sold a million stories by now?†the fan concluded. Many fans agreed that Jenelle is not the type to keep something like this to herself.
Jenelle Claps Back
Jenelle was having none of this fan’s argument, and she offered up what she claimed was visual evidence that David has undergone life-saving cancer treatment.
A Solid Argument?
“Uhm… he had a thyroidectomy, why do you think he has a scar across his throat?!” Jenelle argued. Of course, the fan wasn’t claiming that David never had his thyroid removed, just that he wasn’t diagnosed with cancer. But we digress.
Why So Secretive?
So why did Jenelle and David keep his diagnosis under wraps for so long? “He just doesn’t scream it out to everyone. It’s scary for us to deal with,” Jenelle explained on Twitter.
Family Shade
Naturally, Jenelle had to seize the opportunity to talk some trash about David’s family. “Sure… he had radiation therapy, of course none of his family was there helping him either going through this. If you only knew the truth,” she told fans.
Jenelle vs. Jessica
This, of course, is not the first time that Jenelle has ran afoul of David’s sister, Jessica Eason Miller.
A Spat Between Sisters-in-Law
Earlier this year, Jenelle became angry upon learning that Jessica still spends time with David’s first baby mama, Olivia Leedham.

Jessica chimed in on Jenelle’s latest claims about David’s health, and she certainly did not mince words. She didn’t confirm or deny that David had cancer, but she says Jenelle’s account of of his health troubles is almost entirely BS.

Jessica is apparently blocked by Jenelle, but she asked fans to pass along the following message: “Tell that dumb b–ch that I said in 2013 when David got his surgery she didn’t even know him and he was with his family. us .. his real family”

Jenelle’s not the type to take this sort of thing lying down. She’s being accused of lying about her husband’s cancer and mistreating his family. We’re guessing she’s currently just biding her time and crafting the perfect response. Natrually, we can’t wait for the day when she returns fire.
