More excerpts from Apollo Nida’s first prison interview were released today, and it seems that the Real Housewives hustler is having a more difficult time in prison that he expected.
For one thing, he’s attempting to patch things up with his estranged wife, but as her interviews have made clear, Phaerdra Parks has no interest in getting back with Apollo.
In even worse news for Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks has apparently refused to allow her two young sons to visit their father in prison. At least so far.
“I can’t see why she would continue to hurt me by not allowing me to see my boys,” Apollo griped to celebrity news magazine In Touch.
“This isn’t right. If I don’t see my children for eight years, that would be some bullsh-t, and I would fight for that right.”
“Who in their right mind would allow children to be away from their father for eight years, regardless of where their father is in the world?”
Nida is serving an eight year sentence for various fraud charges.
Though he and Parks are legally still married, they’d been estranged for several months by the time Nida began serving his sentence, and he stated in interviews that she did not even attend his sentencing hearing.
“If she leaves, it would hurt like hell,” Nida says of Parks. “But as Apollo Nida has done before, I’ll just have to pick myself up and move forward and figure it out.”
