Are Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett not only staying together, but renewing their wedding vows? That’s the latest rumor swirling around the embattled couple.
It’s been four months straight of drama since Hank cheated on Kendra with Ava London, a transgender model with whom he enjoyed mutual hand relief.
The former NFL player has worked hard to save his marriage in that time, whatever you think of his actions, and wants to cement the duo’s apparent reconciliation.
Renewing his wedding vows with Kendra would give them the “fresh start” he seeks, although he’s got work to do. They’re not even living together now.
Just the same, no matter how bad things look when you watch Kendra on Top online (which you should, the premiere was quite something), he won’t quit.
“Hank will do whatever he can to save his marriage to Kendra and one way of showing his commitment is by renewing his wedding vows,” a source says.
“He wants to have a ceremony, the whole thing,” the insider goes on. “He really wants to renew his marriage vows with Kendra and start fresh.”
Ideally, in Hank’s dream world at least, “it would be a holiday wedding or a New Year’s Eve ceremony… a way to start 2015 with a fresh beginning.”
One can appreciate the sentiment, but we wouldn’t hold our breath.
Despite her recent overtures toward repairing their shattered life (she’s said publicly that her “lost” husband deserves a second chance), it’s awfully soon.
Kendra doesn’t seem like she’s totally confident in their union right now, and given that his hands were on another woman’s penis, how could she be?
She even mused to E! News, “What if there is more that comes out? I can’t sit here and say I’m going to stay with him and then tomorrow another story comes out.”
“What if this is another Tiger Woods situation? This has come out of nowhere. It’s like I’m living a nightmare. It’s so unreal…I can’t even wake up from it.
“Is, is this really Hank?” Kendra laments. “Is this situation really about Hank?”
She also said that he’s a great dad and an amazing man who treats her like a queen in the same breath, so safe to say she’s a little bit conflicted here.
Keep working, Hank. And steer clear of any and all Ava Londons.
