For better or worse, the past year has been a very eventful one for Kylie Jenner.
Kylie welcomed her second child, a boy who was initially named Wolf, but whose moniker has been changed to something that his parents feel is more appropriate for his personality.
The new name has yet to be made public.
Aside from some difficulties with the birth certificate, the addition of the Baby Formerly Known as Wolf has obviously been a joyous development in the life of Kylie and her longtime boyfriend Travis Scott.
But there’s been a dark cloud hanging over this happy time in the Jenner-Scott household.
Back in November, 10 people lost their lives at Travis’ Astroworld festival in Houston.
All of the victims were killed by being trampled when the crowd got out of control during Scott’s performance.
Critics accused Scott of not doing enough to prevent the tragedy, and the rapper is currently facing multiple lawsuits filed by the victims families.
The controversy led to rumors that Kylie and Travis had broken up, but we now know that that was not the case.
In the years since she became a mom, Kylie has kept a lower profile than most of her sisters, and she rarely comments publicly on her relationship with Travis.
Kylie bucked that trend over the weekend, however, when she posted an Instagram tribute to Travis on the occasion of his 31st birthday.
“Happy birthday, my love, my best friend,” she wrote in an Instagram Story on Saturday.
“The most special person and father to our babies @travisscott.”

Kylie, of course, was not alone in paying tribute to Travis,
“Happy Birthday Travis!!!!” Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, wrote on her own Instagram page that day.
“You are such an incredible and amazing daddy, and it is so much fun and such a joy and a blessing to watch you raising your kids," Kris continued.
"I’m so proud of you and wish you the most magical day! Thank you for being such a special part of our family … I love you!!!”
Kylie and Travis have experienced their share of ups and downs over the years, but these days, they seem to be stronger than ever.
In 2019, Kylie broke up with Scott amid rumors that he had cheated on her while on tour.
The couple — who were already parents to daughter Stormi — decided to give their relationship another chance in May of 2021.
“Neither felt ready to settle down and were busy working on their own projects but having a child who they both love and adore has brought them closer together,” a source close to the situation told In Touch at the time.
“They’re really enjoying spending quality time together, going on amazing vacations and road trips, staying at luxury hotels and are loving every minute of being a proper family with Stormi.”
Needless to say, Kylie and Travis have been through an awful lot in their relatively short time together.
The year ahead is sure to be a challenging one for Scott, as he continues to grapple with the fallout from the Astroworld tragedy.
But no matter what happens, at least he can rely on the support of a loving partner and family.
