And they even found time to hand out some awards!

The Slap

Yes, Will Smith’s assault on Chris Rock might be all that anyone is talking about today, but it was a memorable night in other ways, as well!

CODA pulled off an upset to become the first Best Picture winner featuring a mostly deaf cast.

Actors Jessica Chastain, Ariana De Bose, and Tony Kotsur all became first-time Oscar winners.

Will Smith did too, but maybe the less said about that the better!

It’s time for us to shift the focus back to where it belongs with a list of the night’s big winners.

Sadly, Chris didn’t receive an honorary trophy for his ability to withstand a slap!
