As little sister Kylie is accused of Blackfishing, fans are once again chatting about Khloe Kardashian’s face.
People aren’t shaming her for her looks … but accusing her of photoshopping her face beyond recognition.
Back in May, fans noticed that Khloe Kardashian had a new face.
At the time, they worried that it was the result of getting some drastic work done — in pandemic lockdown, no less.
Now, however, fans think that Khloe is editing herself into having a whole other face, and for the worst reasons.
"Khloe, girl," a Twitter user writes, pairing a confessional camera screenshot of Khloe beside one of her "new" pics from May.
The Twitter user is, without using words, highlighting how different Khloe’s face looks.
Though lighting and makeup can make a tremendous change, many commenters cannot help but observe that the difference goes beyond that.
"She looks so hot in the second one anyway," one reply reads.
That same tweet continues: "I don’t know why she would photoshop herself so much."
Other Twitter users have theories about that … but some aren’t sure that it’s more than smoke and mirrors.
Here, a Twitter user flipped a photo and paired them, face to face and at the same size.
Their reasoning is that Khloe needn’t have done anything beyond changing her makeup and lighting.
The difference is dramatic, to be sure, but not necessarily CGI … right?
When another casts doubt on this being more than a better focus with great lighting, a detail gets pointed out.
It certainly appears, upon close inspection, that Khloe’s necklace is partially missing.
We must point out that the chain is very thin anyway but … it truly does appear to be invisible on one side in that tweet.
Others spoke up in Khloe’s defense, pointing out that she has been widely mocked for her appearance for years.
Khloe was regularly and viciously body-shamed when her family rose to fame as their series started.
It prompted her to remold her body into a "revenge body." It is so sad that this was done to her.
Additional replies show how much compassion many on Twitter have for Khloe.
Khloe has always been a beautiful woman, and had the misfortune of rising to fame at the exact same time as social media was taking off.
People would regularly say vicious things about her while forgetting that, you know, she’s right there. She can see your tweets.
The result? Body image issues that will cause her to focus only on flaws, no matter how beautiful she is.
If you’re thinking to yourself "but we all do that!" then you’re either not getting body dysmorphia … or may want to read up on it and see if you have it.
The question at this point is simply: did Khloe’s struggle with her body image lead her to photoshop her face?
We cannot say for sure. But Khloe has been "caught" photoshopping herself before.
About half a decade ago, fans noticed that she had digitally cinched her waist … and as a result, caused the wall behind her to curve in the photo.
Khloe is a gorgeous woman with an incredible figure. We hope that one day, she can see herself the way that millions of people see her.
