Last year, Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney revealed that their first wedding was fake, if only by accident.
This week, viewers saw their second wedding. Let’s hope that this one sticks.
Tom and Katie were "married" in 2016, but a paperwork error meant that their marriage was never legally recognized.
On Tuesday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the couple sought to correct that mistake by way of a second wedding.
The two headed to Las Vegas to hold their remedial nuptials at Caesar’s Palace.
That sounds simple and sweet … but when it came to the guest list, things were downright contentious.
The guest list included Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Stassi Schroeder, Beau Clark, Lala Kent, and Randall Emmett.
Lisa Vanderpump was of course in attendance, as were Ken Todd, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Max Boyens
Now, Scheana Shay was 100% invited.
However, going through the (genuinely not fun) process of having her eggs harvested and frozen, she could not make it.
Scheana was bummed that she couldn’t make it to the remedial nuptials.
Kristen Doute, however, was royally pissed.
See, while Scheana had reluctantly bowed out, Kristen was apparently never invited to the gig at the first place.
On Vanderpump Rules, she made it absolutely clear that she had plenty of bitter feelings about it.
"I muted Katie, Stassi and Beau’s [Instagram] stories," Kristen furiously revealed.
There’s Fear Of Missing Out, and then there’s whatever this is.
"I don’t want to see it," Kristen affirmed. "I don’t want to accidentally hit it."
"I don’t want to feel sad," she proclaimed. "People f–king suck."
Being emotionally honest, Kristen expressed: "They really really f–king hurt my feelings."
"And," she admitted, "I can’t take fighting with my now two ex best friends."
"Happy wedding," Kristen added with more than a little sarcasm.
That was not all that she had to say on the subject, however.
"It’s f–king devastating," Kristen expressed to the confessional camera.
"This is literally my ride or die, two best friends," she characterized their (erstwhile) relationship.
"How do we keep going through these huge life moments without each other?" Kristen asked.
Breaking down emotionally, she added: "I’m f–king heartbroken."
Meanwhile, in Vegas, the wedding went on without her.
Tom and Stassi officiated the wedding together, dressed as Elvis and a nun respectively.
Tom poked fun at the previous wedding’s issue, affirming that this time, they do have the actual documents.
"We’re here to witness a once in a … twice in a lifetime thing," Stassi quipped before the guests.
"I don’t know anything about marriage — Beau! — but I feel like this is all Schwartz’s fault," she said, giving her beau, Beau, a verbal nudge.
"And Schwartz now gets his dream wedding," Stassi announced, "of all of us getting s–t-faced in Vegas."
It’s always important to look for silver linings, right?
The two signed the marriage certificate together.
The next day, Tom confessed that he had misplaced it.
With the documents nowhere to be found, Katie seemed to accept it, saying: "I married an imbecile, it’s okay."
Let’s hope that she retains that attitude at their third wedding! (We joke … probably)
