Teresa Giudice and her kids have left Italy after a brief stop overseas to see their husband/father.
And now all fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey only have one question they need to be answered:
Will Teresa next leave Joe Giudice... for good?
The veteran reality star had said prior to this trip that the fate of her marriage basically depended on how things went between her and her estranged supposed soulmate.
Joe, of course, has been residing in his native country ever since he was released this fall from ICE custody and ordered to await a decision on his deportation appeal from outside the United States.
He previously told Andy Cohen, during a satellite interview between himself and Teresa, that the couple hadn't seen each other in three years, eight months.
That's what happens when you both break federal law and spend many months in prison.
After sounding anything but enthused over the future of her relationship, Teresa accompanied her four daughters to Italy last Wednesday, posing with her fellow family members in a handful of photos.
But it's worth noting two things here:
- There is no photo of just Joe and Teresa together.
- Teresa has not posted any pictures from the trip on her own Instagram page.
Could we be reading too much into both of those facts? Yes.
But Teresa has flat-out said she isn't moving to Italy under any circumstance, which pretty much dooms the marriage for all eternity, wouldn't you say?
Assuming Joe's deportation appeal is denied, that is.
Teresa and her kids only remained in Italy through Sunday, with 18-year old Gia sharing one last picture of her dad online and writing as a caption:
“Love you see you soon,” she captioned a photo with her dad and her sister, Audriana.
Gia has been the most vocal member of her immediate family throughout this ordeal, making it clear just how much she misses her dad and how sad she is over this whole deportation thing.
It really is heartbreaking when you remember that four young women are stuck in the middle of this romantic and legal fiasco.
It's worth noting that Audriana also bid farewell in video clips filmed from a plane that appeared to be soaring over the Italian coastline -- but that Teresa is yet to really make any public statement about the trip at all.
Bravo camera, naturally, were on hand to film the reunion, though.
Gotta exploit all this family drama for content, right???
Teresa and Joe, meanwhile, seemed uncertain about their future together as a couple during their aforementioned sit-down with Cohen.
"“I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t seen him in three years and eight months,” Teresa said at the time.
“I do love him as a person. I don’t know how I’m going to feel when I see him.”
Added Joe: "If we stay together, we stay together. If we don’t, we don’t. We’ll see.”
You can totally feel the love here, can't you?
Melissa Gorga then chimed in as follows in a Good Morning America interview on November 6:
“At this point, they don’t know each other anymore. And they need to get to know each other again. It’s only fair to give her that minute to get back together and see how they feel."
Welp, now she's had that minute:
Is there a single person out there who thinks these two will stay together?
