Simply put, Meghan Edmonds is completely broken right now.
This is how The Real Housewives of Orange County described herself yesterday in a lengthy blog entry that outlined the details behind her ongoing divorce from husband Jim.
As you likely know by now, Jim Edmonds filed to divorce the former Bravo personality a day after the pair got into a HUGE fight over his alleged affair with the family’s nanny.
Since this filing, both Jim and the nanny in question have staunchly denied any hanky and/or panky…
… and then Meghan herself admitted in this blog post that she doesn’t think Jim boned this other woman.
After writing about what she deemed an inappropriate connection between Jim and Carly Wilson, Edmonds said yesterday:
"To be clear, I don’t know if Jim slept with our babysitter or whether they were just being exceedingly inappropriate by hanging out socially without either of them telling me (and Jim expressly lying to me about it).
"I’m disgusted by what has surfaced in the media. I love my husband and I’m devastated that our marriage is being broken up in the ugliest and messiest way."
It’s clear that Meghan is in a lot of pain here.
But perhaps she can take solace in the reaction of other Real Housewives to the scandal. To wit:
Tamra Judge: “Big hugs. You are a strong woman Megs. Love you."
Heather Dubrow: “Love you @meghankedmonds you’re an amazing mom and friend – sending you love."
Braunwyn Windham-Burke: "You’re an amazing mom and one of the strongest women I’ve met, you have an entire community behind you."
Stephanie Hollman: “You are strong and beautiful."
Kyle Richards: “He is a real POS who will never change. YOU on the other hand are young, beautiful and smart. You are way better off even though I know that is hard to see right now."
Kelly Dodd, however? Well, she wasn’t exactly supportive in her response.
Meghan’s former friend and costar threw shade at the Edmonds’ marriage in the comments section of a fan post via Instagram.
“I said it and called it at the reunion,” she wrote. “After she was calling me out for having an affair. funny how these housewives like to pass judgment. they need to clean their own houses.”
Ouch, Kelly! The wound is still very fresh for Meghan here. Sheesh!
It is true, however, that Kelly suggested that Jim was unfaithful during season 12 of The Real Housewives of Orange county… only for to Meghan fire back with claims about Kelly’s marriage to now ex-husband Michael Dodd.
Meghan, meanwhile, concluded her emotional post yesterday as follows:
I will set an example for my children and I will teach them to love and respect people while also knowing not to condone unethical or wrong behavior.
I will facilitate healthy, consistent, and ongoing relationships with their father and with his family despite the hurt I feel from them because my children should not reap the karma of my personal situations.
