It's only been two years since Meghan Markle left the USA Network show that made her semi-famous.
But let's be honest:
It feels like a lifetime ago, doesn't it?
That's what happens when you go from third or fourth on the call sheet on a moderately popular cable drama to, arguably, the most famous women in the world.
Markle has to be up there at least, right? Considering she's now the wife of Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex and a member of The Royal Family?
In a surprising and pretty awesome Instagram post yesterday, however, actor Patrick J. Adams took fans back to a time when Markle was simply a member of the Suits cast.
Before anyone could have predicted where her journey would take her.
"This week the last episode of Suits will air and the nearly 10-year journey we've all been on together will finally be over," Adams captioned a snapshot of himself wearing a suit, days before the show's series finale airs.
"So, it seems right to post some photos the next couple of days from the early days," he added. "This photo was from the first fitting I ever had for Mike Ross."
Aside from pictures of himself, Adams included many never-before-seen images of his former co-star and very close pal, Markle.

Markle stepped down from her role as Rachel on Suits in November of 2017, following the news of her engagement to Prince Harry.
Adams played her love interest on the long-running series and the pair have remained tight ever since, with Adams and famous wife Troian Bellisario among the guests at the Royal Wedding in May of 2018.
“From all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we want to send our most heartfelt congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement,” the show’s network said in a statement at the time of her departure, adding:
“Meghan has been a member of our family for seven years and it has been a joy to work with her.
"We want to thank her for her undeniable passion and dedication to Suits, and we wish her the very best.”
Markle, of course, also had something to say when she gave up her acting career for love.
She said back then:
"I see it as a new change, a new chapter.
"I've been working on my show (for) seven years, we were so fortunate to have that longevity, and I feel like I checked that box and am very proud of the work I've done there."
The final ever episode of Suits will air in the U.S. on Wednesday, while Meghan continues her 10-day tour of South Africa with Harry and their four-month-old son, Archie.
Shortly after Markle departed the show, and prior to exchanging vows with Harry, Adams dubbed the handsome prince a "handsome prince," elaborating as follows in a heartfelt tribute:
Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious.
Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.
Pretty great, no?
