Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown has been gushing over his girlfriend and even shut down rumors that his family hated her for being pansexual.
Fans figured that it was only a matter of time before these two lovebirds took things to the next level.
The time has come: Bear and Raiven are now happily engaged!
Something is clearly in the air in rural Washington — and in the Brown family.
People reports that, over the weekend, Bear Brown proposed to his gorgeous model girlfriend, Raiven Adams.
In fact, he popped the question on the very spot where the couple — who were friends before they were lovers — shared their first kiss.
As for the ring that he used, which is visible in the photo above, there’s a bit of a twist.
Bear proposed with a ring that has been passed down in the Adams family for generations, rather than one from his own.
That holds real sentimental value — and implies that Raiven’s family supports this engagement.
21-year-old Raiven even described the proposal to People.
"It was a perfect moment with just us,” she raves.
“He’s such a special person," Raiven praises. "With the biggest heart."
"I’m so happy to be by his side," she continues. "And share this time with both of our families."
That is so sweet!
"Raiven has been my best friend since Noah’s wedding," Bear says, referring to when the two of them met.
"She helped me a lot over the last year," he gushes.
"And," Bear continues. "I hope I can always be there for her the way she is for me."
Bear proclaims: "I love her!"
"I never thought I’d hear myself say those words," he confesses. "But I do!"
When Bear’s brother Noah married Rhain last year, Bear met Raiven at the small ceremony.
"Raiven was helping her mom, Kassy Michelle, who was the photographer," Bear explained earlier this summer.
He continued: "Her mom has always had a passion for photography."
"And," Bear noted. "Raiven helps her out with weddings and other photo shoots from time to time."
The two have been BFFs since that meeting last year, and have been dating for several months.
"She is truly the full package," Bear recently raved of his now-fiancee.
"She is beauty in every sense of the word," he proclaimed. "Inside and out."
“And she is the most awesome and extreme woman I’ve ever met!" Bear stated.
We all know how much Bear loves the extreme.
"I adore her, honestly," he concluded.
There was an unfortunate rumor circulating a few weeks ago.
After news came to light of Raiven’s ex-girlfriend, one report claimed that the Brown family felt deceived and uneasy about Raiven’s sexuality.
(At least one tabloid referred to this as her "lesbian past," which is not how anything works; Raiven is pansexual)
Bear quashed that rumor handily, assuring fans that his family aren’t bigots and that Raiven had been upfront with everyone all along.
And now she is joining the family. We can only imagine how overjoyed everyone must be.
