This week, Blac Chyna stunned the world by no longer demanding child support from Rob Kardashian.
Now, it's Rob's turn to surprise everyone.
Rob is moving to quash negative rumors about his baby mama, saying that everything she does is in the best interests of Dream.
Rob is making use of the Notes App, one infamous for celebrity apologies. But he's not here to say he's sorry.
"Angela the mother of my child," Rob begins in the message he shared on Twitter on Wednesday.
Blac Chyna's birth name is Angela Renee White.
Rob continued, writing: with "whom I have a wonderful relationship."
He notes that Chyna "decided to drop the child support case" against him.
Rob explains that she did so "because she felt it was in the best interest of our daughter."
Rob then takes aim at a rumor that she had shown up late to court and then wanted to grab margharitas afterwards.
"Reports of her wanting to have drinks was totally false," Rob insists.
"And," he says. "Her being late was in reference to a prior meeting concerning our daughter."
"Please," Rob implores his followers and the world. "Stop creating all these falsehoods concerning Angela and [me]."
It's clear that he wants everyone to know that he and Chyna are getting along for a change.
Back in February, Rob made a more formal declaration.
"Angela and I are both actively co-parenting," he insisted in at tweet.
"And," he revealed. "There are no pending or active custody cases."
Chyna had chimed in.
"Robert and I only concern is what’s in the best interest of our daughter that we both equally love," she said.
Chyna concluded: "Additionally, Robert is a wonderful father to our Dreamy!"
Previously, Rob and Chyna had been at odds -- if not at each other's throats -- in court.
After the dissolution of their relationship, their feuding peaked in early July of 2017, when Rob posted Chyna's nudes for the world to see.
That positively presidential move heralded a massive legal and PR nightmare for the Kardashian family.
Revenge porn is a crime.
It's amazing to see Rob, not even two years later, speaking up to defend Chyna's reputation on social media.
Previously, Rob was paying Chyna $20,000 a month in child support.
The couple had evenly divided the cost of Dream's education.
However, Rob had recently asked for a reduction in payments, complaining that he was broke and could not afford to continue.
(Let's be real -- Kris was footing the bill, and she was tired of it)
Somehow -- we would like to imagine a magic-wielding mediator as the culprit -- Rob and Chyna reached an accord.
Did Rob and Chyna put aside their differences and come together because they wanted to do the right thing for little Dream?
Gosh, we hope so. She's as cute as a button and she deserves the world.
But it is also possible that they realized that their various legal battles could end in a stalemate, or that it was a situation of Mutually Assured Destruction.
Better to give up on revenge and make peace than risk financial ruin.
