Miles Brockman Richie, the 24-year old son of musician Lionel Richie, had himself quite the weekend in London.
According to TMZ and other outlets, the model was detained at Heathrow Airport for punching a security guard and for claiming he had an explosive in his possession.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police in London has confirmed that a 24-year-old man "accepted a caution" on Saturday for "communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow (Airport) Terminal 5."
Onlookers have told TMZ that Richie was attempting to board a flight when, for reasons unknown, he was barred from doing so.
Once this happened, Richie grew really angry (understandable, perhaps) and claimed he had a bomb in his bag that would detonate unless he was allowed on the plane (far less understandable).
In response to this situation, security guards quickly arrived on the scene...
... only for Richie to punch one of them in the face.
At this point, local police intervened, detained Riche and issued the aforementioned caution.
In the United Kingdom, cautions do not carry the possibility of criminal conviction and are given out for what is described as "minor crimes."
They don't represent much more than a person accepting responsibility for his or her actions, although it does go on the individual's permanent record.
However, Richie will not need to appear in court, as the UK uses this classification as a way of keeping its criminal justice system running smoothly and more efficiently.
Miles is the second oldest of Lionel's three children, who also include 20-year-old Sofia Richie and 37-year-old Nicole Richie.
The former, of course, is in a serious relationship with Scott Disick; while the latter used to co-star on a popular reality show opposite Paris Hilton.
His mother is Lionel's ex-wife, Diane Alexander, and he's actually a rising star in the modeling industry.
Richie is signed to major agency Wilhelmina and made his runway debut at Philipp Plein's New York Fashion Week show this time last year.
He has not yet commented on what transpired in London.
