So, ya got any big plans for New Year's Eve?
Well, as excited as you might be about the idea of popping a bottle of Spumante and enjoying a midnight toast with your parakeets, it seems the Kardashian-Jenner family has outdone you yet again.
Like Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne before them, the entire clan headed to Aspen this week, where they'll ring in the new year on the slopes.
(Or at the very least, they'll take a lot of selfies in ski attire.)
Obviously, there's nothing unusual about the Kards jetting off to some exotic locale.
But what's newsworthy about their latest trip is the fact that it serves as further evidence that Kourtney Kardashian has finally come to accept that Sofia Richie will remain a fixture in her life for the foreseeable future.
As you're probably aware by now, Scott Disick has been dating Sofia for over a year, and against all odds (and despite a considerable age gap) the couple is still going strong.
At first, there were reports of a rivalry between Kourtney and Sofia.
The problem, sources claimed, wasn't that Kourtney wanted Sofia back, but rather that Kourt wasn't thrilled by the idea of Sofia spending so much time with her three children.
Now, however, it seems that Kourtney has come to not only accept but to embrace the situation.
Insiders say that after a rocky start, Kourtney and Sofia now "get along great."
Normally, we'd be skeptical of such claims and quick to dismiss those "insiders" as minions of Kris Jenner, if not Kris herself.
But the evidence of Kourt and Sofia's improved relationship is all over social media.
First, Sofia joined Scott and Kourtney on a pre-holiday vacation in Mexico.
Now, Sofia has been spotted hanging out with the entire Kard clan in Aspen.
According to E! News, the 20-year-old model has been seen laughing it up and shopping with Kourtney and her sisters.
Sources close to the family say it's no surprise, as the Kards have embraced Sofia as one of their own in recent months.
'"It took some time for everyone to be comfortable around one another," the source said.
"Kourtney sees that Sofia is good for Scott, who has been in a really great place, and [she's] happy for the couple."
It sounds unusual at first, but really, it's not all that surprising.
After all, the Kards are still accepting of Scott, and he's done way more to deserve being exiled.
