Jana Duggar is 27 years old and single.
In most situations, that would be far from a big deal, but the Duggars are not your typical brood in any sense of the imagination.
Like her sisters (several of whom, though younger, are already married with children), Jana was raised to believe that women were put on this planet to breed.
If you watch Counting On online, you know that Jana certainly isn't wanting for company, as she's tasked with helping care for her many, many younger siblings.
Pretty much around the clock.
Jana's celibacy and servitude have earned her the nickname the "Cinderella Duggar," and fans have been very vocal about their desire to see her find the right man.
In the past, Jana has claimed that she enjoys being single and is content to spend her days helping out around the Duggar compound.
Is she really, though?
In a new interview with the oddly-titled Crown of Beauty magazine, Jana opens up about the single life and admits for the first time that it's frequently a struggle:
“I know how it feels to wait for ‘Prince Charming’ to come along,” Jana tells the "magazine" (which is far as we can tell is actually just a website).
“I’m still waiting," Jana admits.
Waiting is not always easy.”
Not surprisingly, one of the things that makes waiting so difficult is the fact that Jana's coupled-up siblings enjoy engaging in couples' activities together.
Often to the exclusion of poor Jana.
“Especially in those times when all the married siblings are getting together and you can’t go along because you’re not part of ‘that’ group,” she says.
So what gets Jana through the long days and lonely nights?
Well, she's a Duggar, so you know the answer is Jesus:
“My parents have always encouraged each of us to serve those around us,” she said.
“As Jesus said and led by example, 'The greatest among you will be the servant of all.’"
"I’ve found that when I’m having a hard or discouraging day, I try to look for ways to bless or serve someone else."
"And in turn it usually blesses and encourages me!”
It's nice that Jana is maintaining a positive attitude, and she seems to genuinely find fulfillment in helping her family.
Still, it can't be easy watching her younger siblings leave the nest to start families of their own, especially those much younger than her.
Beyond Jill and Jessa, who are married with children, Joy-Anna Duggar, who recently got engaged to Austin Forsyth, is only 19.
Jinger Duggar, who recently got married to Jeremy Vuolo, is 23, while Joseph Duggar is courting Kendra Caldwell at 22.
Of course, it's not too late for Jana. Far from it.
At 27, she's in her prime, and while rumors that she's courting Tim Tebow turned out to be bogus, if she can somehow make that happen?
She wins the title of undisputed courting GOAT.
