Kate Gosselin has used the latest controversy about her and her children to make an announcement:
Her and her controversial children are returning to the small screen!
In just a few short months!

Ummm… hooray? We guess?
On Wednesday, Gosselin shared a photo of her son Aaden inside of a dog crate.
In the grand scheme of things, it was relatively harmless.
If nearly any other parent had snapped a picture of his or her child smiling broadly alongside the family pet, even inside a cage, it likely would have been viewed as adorable.
But Kate hasn’t exactly earned the benefits of any doubts, not after all these years of exploiting her children on national television and seeming more concerned about herself and her bank account than their well-being.
"I asked Aaden to keep Nanuq company for a few minutes while I cleaned her area…this is what he did!" Gosselin wrote as a caption to the following photo, adding:
"They played toys and snuggled! #ILoveThisBoy #TrueLoveForHisPup #Dedication."

The photo has mostly been met with shock and derision, but there was apparently one follower of Gosselin’s who thought it was simply precious.
And who made it clear that she wants to watch Kate Plus 8 online or on TV again at some point in the future.
"Wish you guys were still on television," wrote the fan, speaking for only herself.
But Gosselin reads the comments section of her Instagram account and responded as follows:
"We are! Full season of Kate Plus 8 returning in January! #Yay."
Oh. Well. Okay then.
The TLC reality show chronicles Gosselin’s life with her 15-year-old twins Mady and Cara and her 12-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel.
It is a spinoff, of course, of Jon and Kate Plus 8, which featured Kate and then-husband Jon Gosselin raising these same children.
They were (sort of) considered America’s sweethearts for many years, until the true shrew nature of Kate shone through and the true douchebag nature of Jon could no longer be denied.
They got divorced in December of 2009.
It took awhile, but Kate has since apologized for some of her insane meltdowns.
"If I could go back, I wouldn’t spend so much time worrying about the messes and the obsessive compulsiveness," she told People Magazine in August as part of her rehabilitation tour.
Gosselin added in this same interview:
"I would spend more time nibbling little feet and cuddling up … I worried about so many things I just didn’t need to be worrying about."
Hey, we all make mistakes.
We all live and learn and grow.
We don’t all then continue to stick our children on television and expose every facet of their lives to millions of people.
Season 4 of Kate Plus 8 premiered in December 2015 and concluded in January.
So Season 5 will premiere one year later, although no exact date has been set for it.
Will you tune in? If so, may we ask you one simple question? Here it is:
WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
