Big Brother continued to whittle down the contestants as we approach the season finale.

We picked back up right after the nominations ceremony and tensions were rising all over the house.

Paul remained pretty classy about the whole thing.

Deep down, he knew it was a good move for Nicorey’s game, so he respected it.

That’s when you know there’s a good player in the mix.

When someone else respects a game move, you know they’re trustworthy and that they care that the right person wins.

There’s nothing worse than someone floating to the end and getting the money.

He just would have liked to have been let in on the secret before it all played out, but that’s not how a Big Brother blindside works.

Paul went to Nicorey to see if there was any way to salvage their alliance, but Nicole made it clear that it was always going to come down to who would take a swing first.

Victor joined in on the fun, and told Corey that if he stayed in the game, he would be throwing shots back.

Corey and Nicole were shocked at just how honest he was being with them.

That wasn’t a good move because it made the target even bigger around him. Paul stayed very neutral throughout the whole process and that made him come across as less of a target.

At the veto competition, Nicole emerged with the win.

It was the annual comic book competition, so she had an advantage because she played the competition before.

Veterans always seem to have an unfair advantage.

This further proves that Nicole wins competitions when she really needs to.

Derrick Levasseur showed up in the studio audience to answer some questions about the game play this season.

Derrick won Big Brother 16 and managed to get all the way to the end of the game without being nominated for eviction.

He had a great social game. That’s something most of this year’s crop of houseguests lacked.

As expected, he was singing the praises of Nicole.

He stated that she knew she played to hard in her original season, so she managed to change things up to get further.

I can agree with that, but between her and Paul, it will be difficult to understand what the jury would do if the both of them were the final two houseguests.

Nicole did not use the veto.

By the time the eviction arrived, Victor was in good spirits.

He knew it was his time to leave the game, so he patched things up with everyone in the house.

Victor was evicted by a vote of 2-0.

On his exit from the house, he made it clear that he trusted the wrong people and that’s ultimately what got him evicted all of this times.

His speech was a bit rich when you consider the fact that he was speaking about turning on Nicorey if either him or Paul won the HOH competition.

At the HOH, Nicole was winning right up until the second last question.

It was super tense, but Paul managed to eke out a win.

Poor James was left at the starting gate throughout.

Maybe Nicole and Corey should have targeted Paul for eviction.

They’d probably have won the competition against Victor because he’s more of a physical competitor.

Either way, Paul is staying in the game.

This guarantees him a place in final three, but the POV holder will have all the power with who is evicted this week.

There’s still a chance that Nicole and Corey will make it to the end of the game.

Nicole was upset at losing the competition, but there’s still a chance she’ll make it to the end.

As expected, the spoilers we posted yesterday came from a good source and rung true.

We’ll keep you up to speed if any more are released before the next eviction.
