The Real Housewives of New York City Recap: Hamptons Pt. Deux

by at .

The Hamptons weekend continued on The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 Episode 4 Wednesday night, and you won't believe it, but ...

So did the drama!

At Bethenny's much-talked about BBQ birthday party, she was avoiding John like it was her job until she finally decided to talk to him.

Spoiler alert: It didn't go very well. At all.

If you recall, John made the bra party from hell particularly hellish, and Bethenny didn't appreciate that ... or that he didn't own up to it.

According to Frankel, Dorinda's man didn't even recall accosting her about her business, her lack of love life, and so on down the line.

So the John Mahdessian and Bethenny fight was inevitable basically, but did Frankel take one for the team for the sake of Dorinda?

Speaking of awkward confrontations, Luann started berating Carole about dating Adam Kenworthy. While toting around a hula hoop.

"It's embarrassing. You're a grown woman. Leave the hula-hoop at home," Carole said, while Luann refused to apologize for her antics.

"Here's something Luann didn't say to me: I'm sorry, which astounds me, which is a very simple thing to say," Carole said, incredulously.

Finally they agreed to be nice at least.

The awkwardness only escalated later at Jules Wainstein's  brunch featuring Dorinda, John, Jules' husband, Bethenny, Carole, and Luann.

And some guy Luann brought, natch.

"Usually her dates don't stay for breakfast," Carole said, in what was perhaps the understatement of the year and the line of the night.

And that's all she wrote for this week folks. Use the video above to watch The Real Housewives of New York City online to see it in full.
