Happy news! Rudy from The Cosby Show got married!
That's right, Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played the adorably spunky "Rudy" on Cosby, is now wed to former NFL player Ed Hartwell.
And here's the best part: it was a surprise wedding!
On her podcast, "Kandidly Keshia," the former child star revealed that her friends and family "had no clue they were coming to a wedding. They thought they were coming to a New Year's party."
What a way to kick off 2016.
Instead of choosing a destination wedding, the couple decided to keep the ceremony low-key by holding it in their house.
"We did it literally in our living room in our home," she said.
Pulliam shared a photo of their wedding kiss on her Instagram, writing in the caption:
"The most AMAZING day of our life!!! New 'Kandidly Keshia' available on play.it/Keshia. Listen as we share our magical wedding day. #IAmOfficiallyMrsHartwell"
New hubby Hartwell is just as ecstatic about their union.
"I'm happy every day. I thank God every day," he said, joining his wife on the podcast. "No matter what I go through, I thank him every day that I get to wake up next to such a beautiful angel that he sent into my life."
This is the first marriage for Pulliam and the second for Hartwell, who was previously married to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu. The two divorced in 2011 and have a son together.
Congratulations to this very happy couple.
