Because something equally unexpected just look place this week: Scott Disick hung out with his children!
The shady ex-boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian spent quality time with five-year old Mason and three-year old Penelope, taking the children out for pizza on Sunday and giving them a ride in his Mercedes.
He even filmed the toddlers dancing up a storm to Demi Lovato’s "Cool for the Summer" and posted the cute footage on Instagram.
“Best thing ever,” Disick captioned the video of Mason in the driver’s seat and Penny in the passenger’s seat.
Scott and Kourtney split last month after nine years of dating and three children together.
While Kardashian has been flaunting the body Scott will never touch again, Disick has mostly been partying it up in Las Vegas and remaining a deadbeat dad.
He did not attend Penelope’s third birthday party this month and then proceeded to post a lame message of congratulations to his daughter.
But, hey, it’s never too late to change one’s way and perhaps this video is proof that Scott has seen the parental light.
For the sake of his kids, let’s hope so.
