Niall Horan is here to ease your concerns, One Direction fans.
Supporters of this attractive boy band have been freaking out for about 24 hours now, ever since the group announced an extended, one-year hiatus after the release of its next album.
One Direction will cease promotion in March 2016 and will not go on tour in support of the CD, causing many to
wonder freak out:
Is this the beginning of the end? Is One Direction about to split up for good?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
No, if Horan is to be believed.
"Ok so lots of rumours going round," he wrote Monday afternoon on Twitter, seeking to calm folks down by adding:
"We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year. Don't worry though, we still have lots we want to achieve!"
Following Zayn Malik's surprising One Direction departure in March, followers are understandably dubious about where the group is headed.
There is no official reunion date and we can confirm that Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne will be going their separate ways for at least a year.
That's a long time. A lot can happen in a year.
But we'll just need to sit back and
hope pray that Horan's concluding Tweet rings true:
"Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform some new songs as the tour continues! Love you all xx."
