Miley Cyrus is not about to let society put her in a box.
The singer, who previously told Marie Claire she feels like a teenage boy, has opened up to Elle UK about dating, romance and how she refuses to be labeled in a conventional manner.

Admitting that she’s dating Stella Maxwell, but is in no way committed to the model, Cyrus explains:
"I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with. I’m very open about it; I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship."
(NOTE: being "pansexual" means one is not limited in sexual choice when it comes to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.)
Cyrus made a similar comment about her sexuality to Paper Magazine in June.
"I don’t relate to what people have made men and women into," the star elaborates. "I know I’m more extreme and badass than most guys, but that doesn’t make me a boy.
"And the other night I wore a pink dress because I felt cute. I can bake a cupcake and then go play hockey."
Miley, of course, has come under great fire for how she dresses… or for how she barely dresses at all, really.
But the singer admits she used to suffer from "bad anxiety and depression" and a lot of it stemmed from her appearance.
So never again, Miley has vowed!
"Now I really try not to give a f-ck. If you’re funny enough and cool enough and confident, that’s what will make you feel beautiful."
You can mock her nipples and her pasties all you want… but that’s a pretty admirable attitude to possess, isn’t it?
