Donald Trump may actually be leading in some Republican polls at the moment…
… but it’s never a good sign for any Presidential campaign when your own kids have to issue a statement of support.
Such was the case today when Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump went out of their way to tell People that they still think highly of their controversial father.
“Our father, Donald J. Trump is a true visionary and a great mentor,” the Trump kids said, adding:
He is a brilliant negotiator with a proven track record of getting things done. Most importantly, he is an incredible dad and role model. He raised us to work hard and strive for excellence in all that we do.
"We love and respect him very much.”
As previously noted, a disturbing number of people claim right now that they want Donald Trump to be voted in as the next President of the United States.
But Trump just blasted John McCain, earning a rebuke from his Republican opponents and causing many to think his poll numbers are about to drop.
Trump, of course, lambasted Mexican immigrants as "rapists" who are "bringing drugs" and "bringing crime" to the United States back when he announced his bid for the Presidency last month.
He has since doubled and tripled down on those kinds of statements, while also getting into an actual feud with Mexican drug lord El Chapo. For real.
Love Donald Trump or hate him for the vermin that he has… you must admit: The guy is entertaining.
