A rep for Ben Affleck has made it very clear: The only thing this actor ought to be ashamed of in his life is Gigli.
Okay, those weren’t the exact words used, but Affleck’s spokesman has come out and SLAMMED rumors that Affleck is hooking up with his children’s former nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
Quite simply, the rep says via statement, "the story is complete garbage and full of lies."
The report originated in Us Weekly (see cover, above), though the tabloid does not actually accuse Affleck of cheating on Jennifer Garner.
It instead alleges that sparks started to fly between Affleck and his then-wife during their trial separation this spring.
Garner responded by firing Ouzounian, but she has since remained in close contact with Affleck, who no longer resides with Garner or their three kids.
The split does appear to be amicable, however.
And Affleck’s rep says his client is even considering "legal options" against Us Weekly for spreading such a lie.
Garner and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star announced their divorce to the world on June 30, one day after their 10th wedding anniversary.
