International soccer star Karim Benzema is reportedly dating Rihanna. That rumor comes as a surprise to us and yet not, because #Rihanna.
The “Diamonds” singer was spotted stepping out Tuesday morning for an early morning (or you could say very late night) meal with the athlete.
Wearing ripped denim jeans, a plunging tank-top and leather jacket, she hit up Coppelia, a 24-hour Cuban diner in N.Y.C., with her guy friend.
Says a source who witnessed this clandestine date go down …
“Rihanna and Karim were across from each other … There were about four people at the table and a few more in another table from the same party.”
They came separately and they were speaking French.”
It wasn’t just a coincidental run-in there, either. Earlier in the night, the duo were spotted over at The Griffin nightclub in the Meatpacking District.
Romance rumors began last year when Rihanna tweeted a message to the Real Madrid star, writing “@Benzema I feel your pain right now!”
Benzema then reportedly responded with a message:
“@Rihanna No Pain no gain, thanks for the support!”
Take away her tumultuous past with Chris Brown (and slightly less tumultuous past with Drake) and Rihanna has been linked to about 2,000 guys.
Emphasis on linked. None of them have been serious relationships, or perhaps any relationships at all, so we’ll see if this one is any different.
