As Dance Moms Season 5 Episode 22 got underway, Kendall’s video was set to premiere, and the pressure was clearly starting to wear on the star.

Elsewhere, Abby was being Abby, acting borderline certifiable, out of control and straight up beasting on fools around the clock. Pretty standard really.

If you watch Dance Moms online, you will not be surprised to learn that Holly thinks that Abby is being a total diva upon her move to the West Coast.

Miller eventually unveils the pyramid: Jo Jo and Mackenzie on the bottom, Kendall and Mia in the middle, and obviously, Maddie Ziegler on top.

Abby announces that they will be competing at Energy Dance, though she personally will be working on her own studio and may not make it.

The moms demand to know when the new studio will be done, but Miller says they still don’t have an “estimated date of completion” for it yet.

Abby is also psyched about Kendall’s music video, which will have its big premiere. Jill is beyond pumped. The rest of the moms not so much.

Three days until the competition, and the moms are worried about Abby Lee skipping it. Miller responds that this is America. Seriously.

Abby tells the crew that “Shame On You” is about Mia, and that she is trying to get her charges to “leap over to the other side of the fence.”

Mia knows all too well that the group dance is a thinly veiled reference to her recording a video with Aubrey O’Day without including Abby.

Soon it’s time for Kendall’s music video premiere, Abby is beyond stoked to introduce the world to “Kendall K,” the next big star from ALDC.

Kendall is really nervous but the “Wear Em Out” premiere is a huge hit – a bigger draw than Maddie Ziegler‘s debut got, the latter even says.

The next day the girls are at rehearsal, with their parents fearing that their leader has doomed them all to fail with inadequate preparation.

It’s time for the Energy Dance Competition, and the moms are shocked that Abby has apparently ditched them ahead of this grueling event.

They are determined to help the girls pull this off and prove that they don’t need any Abby Lee Miller bully tactics to do it. Can they succeed?

Results time: Nia’s solo earned her fifth place, but Kilani took first with her solo, and overall, the group dance scored first with “Shame On You.”

The moms are proud of the girls, especially since Abby didn’t do s–t to suppor them. Kilani calls Abby to tell her the results from the event.

Abby says she bailed because she is oh so sick, her nose was running, she hurt her knee and her groin, she couldn’t get out of bed, etc., etc.

Miller complains that she "needs her own time" as the moms ignore her and walk out of the dressing room, without even hanging up the phone.
