Happy Flashback Friday, THG readers!
In honor of this weekly occasion, we’re going all the way back to 1999 with the stars of Cruel Intentions, as Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair proved yesterday that time has treated them very well.
The three actresses posed for a photo (top left) in Los Angeles prior to attending a showing of The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of Cruel Intentions.
Anyone out there want to start a petition for this trio to anchor a sequel?
Witnesses tell E! News that Witherspoon, Gellar and Blair had a blast at the play.
"There were certain moments throughout the show where their eyes said it all," says an onlooker. "They looked at one another, shook their heads, laughed a bit. Reese and Selma gave each other a few high-fives!"
Cruel Intentions told the story of rich step-siblings (Gellar and Ryan Phillippe) who plotted to destroy the life of an innocent young woman played by Witherspoon.
She and Phillippe actually fell in love on set and went on to get married… and then divorced.
Witherspoon proceeded to win an Oscar after the film wrapped; Gellar continued to star in Buffy the Vampire Slayer for a few more years; and Blair is set to portray Kris Jenner on an upcoming TV show.
