Pink has something in common with Kelly Clarkson.
And, unfortunately, it's not just the fact that both have a number of chart-topping hits to their name.
With Clarkson having to deal with a number of fat-shaming haters over the past several weeks, Pink has now taken to the Internet to combat the issue.
The artist posted a photo online over the weekend of her and her daughter, Willow, at the John Wayne 2015 Odyssey Ball on Saturday night.
But instead of focusing on the cute mother-child moment, critics decided to focus on the singer's figure instead.
"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," Pink Tweeted in response to the criticism. "You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s cancer benefit that I attended to support my dead friend Dr. Maggie DiNome.
"She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer."
Pink then laid the guilt on perfectly, adding:
"Unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful.
"So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about my. I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either:)…I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake."
HA! We love it. Preach on, Pink!
