According to a recent report, Justin Bieber was nearly arrested in Rome this week.
TMZ circulated a story that claimed Argentinian authorities went after the artist for an incident in 2013 in which Bieber supposedly told his bodyguard to beat up a member of the paparazzi.
Justin was summoned to Argentina late last year to face this charge, though he never showed up because… really, why would he?
So, did the Argentine government really ask international authorities to have Bieber apprehended in Italy a couple days ago, as alleged online?
No, Bieber counters.
"Rumors rumors rumors. All good. Comes with the job," the superstar Tweeted in response last night.
It is true that Justin is abroad in Europe, however, for a very cool reason: he’s shooting scenes for his Zoolander 2 cameo!
"Enjoying Italy and appreciate all the kind people here. Thank you. Great food," Bieber addded in his message.
The singer, of course, is working very hard to repair his public image, so it makes sense he’d look to end all arrest talk before it picked up a lot of momentum.
He’s looking to put these Justin Bieber scandals in the past…
