With each report that comes out about Honey Boo Boo and family, we have to ask ourselves … what the f–k???
However, most of it comes as no surprise.
For example, it wasn’t shocking when reports came out that Honey Boo Boo is morbidly obese. And it wasn’t groundbreaking news that June Shannon was dating a convicted child molester.
Based upon their behavior, we rightfully assume their life choices aren’t the best.
So when reports came out that Honey Boo Boo’s 17 year-old sister, Lauryn a.k.a. “Pumpkin,” used the N-word and R-word on social media we may be offended.
But we certainly aren’t surprised.
Pumpkin posted a “Man Candy Monday” dedication to guy-pal Josh Efird. In the post, she expressed her sentiments in an outrageous and offensive way:
“My Bestfriend the person I spend half of the day on the phone with having stupid conversations and being retarded,” she mused.
Pumpkin added, “I’ve never laughed so hard at someone the way I do you. Josh your a good guy and I’m glad to call you my Bestfriend and glad to know you’ll always be by my side. Love you n**ga.”
Her friends and fans did not seem bothered by her choice language. No one commented, and seven people even liked the post.
A spokesperson for the family claimed, “She meant it as a sign of affection to her friend. It was not intended in anyway to be derogatory.”
The problem is, Pumpkin, it is derogatory.
