Daniel Gillies is taking another bite out of parenthood.
The actor, who you can marvel over each week as Elijah Mikaelson when you watch The Originals online, welcomed his second child into the world with wife Rachael Leigh Cook this week.
The boy, named Theodore Vigo Sullivan Gillies, was born on Saturday at 5 a.m. in Los Angeles, weighing in at 8 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches.

The couple’s new bundle of joy joins one-and-a-half-year-old sister Charlotte Easton Gillies, who came into this world just prior to a memorable Tweet by her famous father.
"it’s a girl. the tiny new empress of my everything. she’s immaculate. we’re delirious," Gillies wrote back then.
Aside from becoming a mother again, Cook was in the news this week because they may come out with a She’s All That remake.
