Kanye West has once again combined religion and music when it comes to his seventh studio album.

On the heels of "Yeezus," the rapper announced this week that his next set of songs will comprise "So Help Me God," including along with that reveal an image on Twitter of the upcoming cover art.

What do you make of it?

Thus far, Mr. Kim Kardashian has released four songs that may appear on the upcoming album:

  1. On New Year’s Eve, he released the single, “Only One,” featuring Paul McCartney on vocals and keyboard.
  2. In late January, he introduced a second song, “FourFiveSeconds,” again teaming with McCartney and Rihanna.
  3. West then premiered the single, “Wolves,” featuring Sia and Vic Mensa, at an event for the star’s Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost shoes during New York’s Fashion Week.
  4. Finally, he came out with "All Day” at the 2015 Brit Awards in London.

Is it weird that Kanye invokes a higher power when performing and/or titling his albums? Not to Kanye.

"You know, what’s awesome about Christianity is that we’re allowed to portray God," West once said. "We’re allowed to, you know, draw an image of Him, we’re allowed to make movies about Him…So that’s just what’s really awesome about Christianity. That’s one of the awesome things."

Yeezus contains a track titled "I Am a God,” while Kanye’s 2002 debut album made a smash hit out of “Jesus Walks."

In 2006, West recreated Jesus’ crucifixion on the January 2006 cover of Rolling Stone.

What do you think of Kanye so often combining religion with rap?
