Rumors about Bruce Jenner’s sex change have been circulating for as long as we can remember.

His family’s responses have gone from wholesale denials to vague admissions that he might be considering some major changes.

Just yesterday, Kim Kardashian said she supports Bruce “on his journey,” which many interpreted as an indirect way of saying the rumors are true.

Now, the confirmation might come straight from the source, as Radar Online is reporting that Bruce will reveal his plans for a sex change operation in an upcoming interview with E! News.

What’s more, Bruce’s transitioning process will reportedly be the subject of a new reality show on – where else? – the E! network.

“Being that he’s such an icon, it took him a while to do this,” a source claims. “He feels like he doesn’t have anything to lose.”

The insider adds that Bruce’s children and step-kids have encouraged him to come forward and “make a statement” about his transition.

Bruce’s ex-wife Kris Jenner has reportedly been less supportive. Sources say Kris has been outraged by the media coverage surrounding Bruce, and she would prefer if he kept his gender identity private.

Obviously, news of Bruce’s interview and reality show have yet to be confirmed, but if he is planning to continue with his transition, coming out seems like it would be the smartest move for Bruce.

He would effectively put an end to all of the tabloid speculation and more importantly, would become a hero for millions of transgender individuals the world over.
