Get ready to bro down with Vince and his crew of lackeys one more time!
After years of rumors, speculation, and high-profile contract squabbles, the Entourage movie is in the can, and the the first trailer is generating more excitement amongst aging frat boys than a new scent from Axe body spray:
The gang's all here in a surprisingly long clip that's been labeled a "teaser" by Warner Bros.
There's Vince, E, Turtle, Drama, Ari, and best of all, Lloooooooyd!!!
Naturally, there's no shortage of celebrity cameos including Ronda Rousey, Haley Joel Osment, Billy Bob Thornton, and presumably many more.
Emily Ratajkowski is on hand, hopefully to reenact her nude scene from Gone Girl in preparation for a sequel starring Vince in Ben Affleck's role. That's the type of meta Hollywood satire the show was famous for, Bro Namath!
We kid. As far as we can tell Vince is a director now. (Just like Adrian Grenier in real life!) Turtle has lost a ton of weight.(Just like Jerry Ferrara in real life!) And Mark Wahlberg is disappointed by his under-achieving brother. (Just like, eh...you get it.)
Yes, clearly this movie has drawn a lot of inspiration from - you guessed it - the early works of Shakespeare.
Entourage was an easy show to poke fun at (particularly in its later seasons), but at its best it offered a dose of wildly entertaining (and often hilarious) lifestyle porn with just the right amount of Hollywood self-loathing mixed in.
So prepare your crew for next summer, when the Entourage movie hits theaters on June 5, 2015. Just don't argue about which one of you is Vince. No one ever wins that fight.
