Amanda Bynes: I Look Awful, But I'm Still Pretty!

Ever since Amanda Bynes was released from psychiatric care last week, the troubled actress has been frequently tweeting her conflicting and often troubling thoughts and feelings.

Bynes' latest rant began yesterday afternoon when she revealed that she's "not going to USC," despite her previous plans to study fashion at the Los Angeles university.

Amanda didn't offer any explanation for her change of heart, and things only got more confusing from there.

"I look awful...Eyes are ugly when they lie," Amanda tweeted, followed by, "I'm pretty."

Declaring things "pretty" or "ugly" has been an ongoing habit for Amanda.

Bynes described several celebrities as ugly during her first breakdown last year, including Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, Drake, and Zac Efron.

Last week, however, the 28-year-old Bynes tweeted that Efron is "not ugly" ... so she's had a change of heart. At least for the next hour or so.

In 2013, she famously announced that she'd like to have Drake "murder" her vagina, among other thoughts regarding the Canadian rapper.

So it seems that Bynes is prone to drastically changing her opinions, which may be a consequence of the bipolar disorder with which she says she was recently diagnosed.

Bynes' shifting assessments of various celebrities' appearances may seem harmless and even a little amusing, but they might be symptomatic of a much larger problem.

Amanda's parents are currently fighting for a conservatorship that would place her under their legal care, as they believe she presents a very real threat to herself and others.

Bynes is petitioning the court to place her under the care of a different conservator. Her prospects for success on that legal front are as unclear as her mental state.

We just hope this doesn't end very, very badly.
