Kenya Moore has just served NeNe Leakes. Or so she believes.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, one-time Miss USA and sometime Porsha Williams punching bag says she’s doing damn well financially, thankyouverymuch.
The reason this is a big issue in her mind? Allow us to explain …
Kenya says she wrote a $20,000 check to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation, defying NeNe’s comments on The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show.
We know that NeNe Leakes’ salary is insane, and that her business success backs up her swagger when it comes to being the queen of the housewives.
But Kenya is pissed that she was called out by her over money.
Leakes implied that Moore was all smoke and mirrors and didn’t have the money she was fronting like she had. Well, that check for 20 large can speak volumes.
Not only does Kenya want her to eat her words, she wants NeNe to cough up 20 big ones of her own for a good cause and back up her own charitable talk.
Challenge issued. Gauntlet thrown down. Fiscal facial? Served.
Moore says she chose Detroit schools for the donation because she grew up there, and the city means a lot to her, while going through some difficult times.
All good reasons, and a nice gesture by Moore to say the least.
Heck, she didn’t even need to marry an African prince to get that kind of cash. It’s all hers, earned from her hard work … doing whatever it is she does.
