So it looks like Taylor Swift is officially even more awesome, and even more of a nerd than previously believes, which is impressive for someone universally regarded as:
- A nerd
You can thank autumn for this latest anecdote forever etched in Taylor Swift lore, right alongside the fact that she cries when she's drunk or throws pizza parties for fans:
A Taylor Swift recently posted on a fan site devoted to the "Shake It Off" singer how much they loved fall. Who doesn't, right? Well, this fan really loves it, writing:
"There’s nothing like apple picking in the Fall, the first cold New York weather hitting you, the fashion sense steaming up, and the fresh apple cider and donuts."
Good stuff, all of that. This is that rare time of year when people in California are missing out, and not just because there is actually enough water to go around.
But more to the point, Taylor Swift herself was not only sitting around TROLLING THIS SITE but posted a response, and not only a response but an epic one.
On top of everything else her fan loves about the season, Taylor loves ...
"Hats and scarves and knee socks and wearing tights for the first time in months and when the mornings are all chilly and you can see your breath and draw little pictures on foggy windows and plaid stuff and ANKLE BOOTS and not caring when people make fun of pumpkin flavored stuff cause you LOVE IT and are happy it’s all the rage and people who dress their dogs in costumes on Halloween and fires in fireplaces and maroon/hunter green/mustard yellow color combos and baking your first fall batch of cookies but you put too much cinnamon in it because you’re TOO EXCITED BECAUSE IT’S FALL. #heavybreathing"
Yes, Taylor. All of that and a pumpkin spice latte for good measure.
Honestly though, how much do you love this girl?! Her almost cringe-inducing lameness and willingness to own it is as endearing as it is refreshing.
We suppose we should expect as much from someone whose own music video ridicules Taylor Swift dancing, but she never ceases to amaze.
Commence #heavybreathing and digging out the fall decor.
