Yes, Lena Dunham gets naked very often on the HBO hit Girls.

So one might think she’s an unusual source for having such a strong opinion about the ongoing hacking scandal that has left the Internet littered with images of Kaley Cuoco nude, Jennifer Lawrence nude and many other female stars exposed.

But Dunham makes an important distinction in a new Twitter post that rails hard against the criminal at the center of this massive naked picture release.

“The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures,” the 28-year-old writes.

“Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It’s not okay. Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they’re a sex offender.”

The identity of the hacker remains unknown, though he’s bragged on 4chan that he’s in possession of countless lewd images he’s stolen off the personal property of everyone from Ariana Grande to Victoria Justice to Kate Upton.

Dunham then returned to Twitter after reading about folks who said this mess would never have happened if i the featured women didn’t pose in their birthday suit in the first place.

“The ‘don’t take naked pics if you don’t want them online’ argument is the ‘she was wearing a short skirt’ of the web,” Dunham wrote, referencing those who blame victims of rape for this heinous crime and concluding her post with a single word:

Ugh.
