Saturday Night Live has selected the man who will (Star) lord over its upcoming season premiere.
NBC announced today that Chris Pratt will host the 40th season opener of this iconic sketch comedy program, with Ariana Grande serving as musical guest.
The episode will air on September 27.
Then, a week later, Sarah Silverman will take the emceeing stage for the first time, welcoming Adam Levine and Maroon 5 as her show's musical guest.
Pratt, of course, helped Guardians of the Galaxy become the summer's top-grossing film this summer.
He will also star next year in Jurassic World and also appear on the final season of Parks and Recreation. He pretty much owns the entertainment world at this point, in no small part thanks to this awesome Ice Bucket Challenge video:
Grande, meanwhile? Well, some say Ariana Grande is a diva.
This will mark her first time on the SNL stage.
