With Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed dating now, is his ex Nina Dobrev struggling to wrap her head around this budding new vampire romance?
While Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder dated for years in the relative down-low, he’s not hiding his relationship with Twilight actress Reed.
“Some one please give Kate a GREAT HOME!!!! PLEASE!” Somerhalder Tweeted with link to Reed’s previous post about a homeless dog.
Meanwhile, Ian’s Vampire Diaries co-star Dobrev has been using her Instagram as a platform to share some inspirational, albeit cryptic, quotes.
Without mentioning Ian, she first posted a poem reading:
“I give / You take, / I break / You fake / PITY, / I bleed / You dive in deep / Into my blood / As thick as syrup. / Tell me are you / A mosquito?”
Then she took it in a more positive direction, sharing:
“Beauty is the opposite of perfection. It’s about confidence, charisma and character.”
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing,” Dobrev adds.

Neither Nikki or Ian have confirmed their new romance in as many words, but they haven’t had to, walking around getting cozy in public for all to see.
Meanwhile, he’s begun filming with Nina again. Awkward?
To reiterate, it’s not clear how Dobrev actually feels about Somerhalder and Reed, although both women had flings with Derek Hough before as well.
Seems like they have the same type.
